About RouteKhoji

RouteKhoji is a public platform dedicated to making bus route information across Nepal accessible to everyone.

Anyone can use the platform to search for Kathmandu Valley bus routes, explore inter-city bus routes, discover stops along a route, and understand how destinations are connected through public transportation.

Our goal is simple: make public transport route information easy to find, transparent, and available to all passengers.

We believe access to public transportation information should not depend on who you know, where you're traveling, or how familiar you are with a route.

For years, finding reliable bus route information in Nepal has been difficult.

Passengers often had to rely on word of mouth, ask drivers or conductors, search through social media posts, or wait at bus stops hoping the correct vehicle would arrive. Route information was scattered, incomplete, or simply unavailable online.

This especially affected people traveling to unfamiliar areas, students, job seekers, tourists, and anyone trying to navigate public transportation for the first time.

Even within Kathmandu Valley, identifying the correct route, understanding where a bus travels, or finding whether a destination was served by public transport could be unnecessarily confusing.

We didn't think that was right.

Access to route information is a passenger's right. When information about routes, stops, and destinations is difficult to find, people are prevented from making informed travel decisions.

What began as a discussion about the lack of accessible public transport information grew into a mission to build a platform where anyone can easily discover bus routes across Nepal.

We spent countless hours collecting route information, verifying stop lists, mapping route paths, and organizing data into a format that is simple and accessible for everyone.

Today, RouteKhoji exists to help passengers travel with confidence by providing route information that is free, accessible, and easy to use.

We envision a Nepal where every passenger can confidently navigate public transportation without confusion or uncertainty.
